Maybe you just found out that you are pregnant, or perhaps you’re further along – either way, here is my heartfelt congratulations! Pregnancy is understandably one of the biggest and most emotionally-charged journeys you will experience in your lifetime. It’s full of joy and excitement, but also filled with stress, confusion and overwhelm. At no other point in your life have you been faced with the body changes you are currently experiencing, the weight of decisions to be made that impact both you and your baby, and the uncertainty of birth and life after you bring your baby home. If this is where you find yourself, please know that you are not alone and as a doula and mom myself, I see your struggles and understand them deeply.

We are not meant to be alone in this journey. Doula-support is so much more than the hip-squeezes and the reminders to breathe through contractions (although yes, I will do that for you!)…it’s about the ability to come alongside you on your journey of pregnancy, offering compassion & mentorship at every possible stage (from the early pregnancy days to the trenches of postpartum).
